When I tell you this baby was a dream, I mean it whole-heartedly. Marcelo was so calm and sweet throughout his entire session. And this was not lost on his parents, they were completely smitten with him. Every time I looked at his mama she was just smiling at her boy - pure joy. These moments are everything and are exactly why I love capturing these early days so much.  

 From Corbin's little grin to the beautiful sunset, this family session was a dream. I love that occasionally photography allows me to catch up with my sweet friends  -- Lora and I worked together previously and were due just a few days apart.

Kelsey and I have been best friends since we were 9 years old - most of our lives. Through every season, the crazy ones, the hard ones, the great ones - she has been by my side and I am so grateful for her friendship, she is truly one of kind.

I have yet to stumble across a more beautiful backdrop for photos than the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. I mean you guys, they have a greenhouse filled with cacti!
